![]() ![]() You come in and do garbage routes or cover "bid routes" when bid drivers are sick or on vacation. You don't get your own route for years (typically), you are what's considered a "cover" driver. It's not going to be easy, especially in the beginning (like most things). Time commits, driving the truck safely, navigating efficiently etc. There are so many variables to what we do. ![]() Long hours, the politics of whatever center your at can be annoying so I would suggest to just keep your head low and do the job. You will be mentally drained as well as physically drained every day. It's not just sitting in a truck all day doing 50 stops. Like I said though it's rough in the beginning. ![]()
